I don't know if it's eye for composition, lighting, color emphasis, or all of the above, but you have a remarkable gift for making a subject stand out in a photo--and with interesting backdrops, nonetheless. Your pictures are astoundingly beautiful. So are your children. :)
Thank you for your encouragement, friend. Technically speaking, the wide open aperture is what gives photos the nice blurred background so that the eye is led to the subject. It's a tricky but totally worth it!
